As he walked around, his thoughts were fixated on the dream he had had the night before. There was nothing unusual about the dream. In fact, the dream was a frequent occurrence. He had a dream about when he had lost everything a few years ago.

As always, the dream left him feeling hollow inside. It also left him feeling more tired than usual, which wasn’t surprising.

Usually, when faced with having a nightmare, he would just focus on his duties. However, he unfortunately couldn’t do that, considering it was his day off. Because of that, he had decided to take a walk in the hopes that it would help him clear his mind, something that was clearly not working.

Aurora brushing up against him pulled him out of his thoughts and looked down at his concerned pokemon. Smiling slightly, he gave Aurora and Selene a few strokes before taking in his surroundings.

He was met with the familiar surroundings of Verdanturf, so he hadn’t gone too far when wrapped up in his thoughts, so that was good. Still, since he was here, he might as well look around.

While looking around, he would come across what appeared to be a ranch. Well, that was a surprise; he hadn’t been aware there was a ranch around here. Then again, he was usually so focused on training or work that he hadn’t really visited a lot of the other towns.
